Features

Thermoflon TR 6232 is a high-purity, graphite-incorporated PTFE packing without any added lubricants and fillers. This packing solution is suitable as an anti-extrusion ring for preventing gap extrusion.

Pressure:

Sliding velocity:
vg(plunger pumps) = 2 m/s,
vg(valves) = 2 m/s,
vg(mixers, agitators, kneaders, filters) = 2 m/s

Temperature: t = -200 °C ... +280°C
Chemical resistance: pH = 0 ... 14

Universal chemical resistance, also suitable for food applications. Not suitable for hot steam or abrasive media.

Standards and approvals

  • BAM-approval for gaseous oxygen up to 150 °C and 40 bar or 200 °C and 30 bar.

Notes

The packing can be stored safely in its original packaging for a minimum of 3 years in dry, coll, conditions. The maximum stated operating temperature and pressure cannot be used simultaneously.
